Twenty-five years of application security is the story of a profession in constant transformation. In 2001, protecting a web application meant filtering HTTP requests in front of a server. Today it means covering APIs, containers and multi-cloud environments, against attacks that run on automation and artificial intelligence.
The name changed — BeeWare, DenyAll, then UBIKA in 2022 after joining the TSS Group — but the line never did: our solutions are designed, secured and operated in France, with R&D in Montpellier. The CSPN certification from ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency, and the France Cybersecurity label are its most concrete marks.
This retrospective looks back at the milestones that mattered, and at the people who carried them.
